~Popway's Hey-Hey-Hey~ "Albert" {DOB: 10.23.08} "Albert" is a lovely puppy out of ELHID's Long Road to Grace ~Gracie~ x CH. Talimar's Trendsetter ~Blake~. I knew from the time he was 4 weeks old that he was the one for me!! We were going to name him Popway's Stuck On You, but everytime we caught him into something we'd say....hey, hey, hey, leave it! Our granddaughter said "Grandma, you need to call him "Fat Albert" because when you say hey, hey, hey it reminds me of Fat Albert. Hince, the new name!! We are very excited about this young guy's future in the ring. He is absolutely beautiful and has a sweet gentle temperment, that makes him a dream to live with. {taken at 11 months} ****************************************************************************** ~NEWS FLASH~ 2010 has started off with a BANG!! Albert wins Best of Breed both days at the Clemson Kennel Club show January 2010 picking up 2 more AKC Championship Points! Special thanks to Mr. Robert S. Forsyth (Best of Breed Sat, Jan 9) and to Mrs. Robert S. Forsyth for a Group 4 placement in the Sporting Group (Sat, Jan 9) and for the Best of Breed on Sunday, Jan 10. Although it was 12 degrees outside and not much warmer inside, Albert never lost his desire to show. His tail wagged non-stop.
{14 months} ****************************************************************************** Albert wins Winners Dog at the Huntington Kennel Club show July 2009 for his first AKC Championship Point! Special thanks to Mrs. Jane G. Kay (Sun, July 12) and to my granddaughter, Madison, who showed him for me in breed!!! Madison managed to stay on her feet as this big boy pulled her around the ring!
A Special thanks also to Mrs. Karin B. Ashe (Sat, July 11) for giving him Reserve Winner's Dog! We are praying for good things for this sweet young boy! Albert has a very showy attitude and loves everyone he comes across. Check back often for more updates. {photo at 2 months}
